Columbia River Gorge Fall Chinook

The Columbia River Gorge offers a great opportunity to catch the prized upriver bright stock of Columbia River Fall Chinook.  Most of these fish are migrating through the Gorge and are still in great shape as they travel to their spawning grounds in the Hanford Reach, the Snake River, and other destinations upstream.  We target Chinook here from about Labor Day Weekend through the end of September.  We fish a few different locations including Drano Lake, the mouth of the Klickitat River, and the mouth of the Deschutes River.  While fishing the Gorge we either troll with Superbaits, spinners, plugs or we like to hover fish eggs.   Both of these methods produce great catches for our customers.

When fishing the Columbia River Gorge with us we suggest staying in either The Dalles or Hood River, Oregon as both locations give you quick access to the best fishing in the area.  If interested in one of these great trips please click on link below to view our availability and get your trip booked today.
